Silk Elegance offers you the choice of Standard shipping, Express shipping or in-store collection.
Flat Shipping Rates:
- FREE Standard Shipping on orders over $120.
- For orders under $120, a flat shipping rate of $9 applies.
- Alternatively, you can choose to upgrade to Express Post for $14.

- Flat Rate Standard International Post: $21.00
- Flat Rate Express International Post: $35.00
International postage is charged on all orders and is not included in the free shipping offer.
Order Process and Delivery Times:
Silk Elegance endeavours to process your order within 1-2 business days of your order being submitted. A staff member will contact you within this time if any of the items ordered are out of stock. Whilst we do our best to ensure all products are available at all times, due to the large selection of sizes and colours available, some items may be temporarily out of stock. Delivery on these items will be between 2-4 weeks. Should you have any queries on delivery times and/or out of stock sizes before placing your order, please feel free to contact us.
If an item is appearing as “Out of Stock, please allow 2-4 weeks delivery,” you can continue to order this item and we will place this item on backorder. We will ship the available items from your order first. We will then ship the backordered item to you as soon as it becomes available. We will contact you to let you know an estimated delivery date for the backorder items. There will be no extra shipping charges for this backorder service.
Once your order has been processed, your order will be dispatched via your chosen shipping method.
Estimated delivery times are as follows:
Standard Shipping: between 2-10 working days depending on your location
Express Postage: between 1-4 working days depending on your location
Store Collection: your order will be available to collect from our store as soon as we have processed your order. Same day collection may be available.
We will send you a confirmation email along with a Tracking Number which you can use to track the progress of your delivery on the Australia Post website: http://auspost.com.au/track/
Silk Elegance will not be held responsible for any late delivery or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Please note deliveries in the Christmas Peak Season may be slightly delayed.
If no one is available at the delivery address to accept delivery, or there is limited access to the delivery address, a calling card will be left for you to collect the goods from your local Australia Post Office. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions stated on the card to collect your parcel. Please note: we cannot request to leave the parcel unattended or placed anywhere around the property. It is Australia Post’s decision whether to leave the parcel in a safe place, we have no control over this.
Upon delivery, please ensure all items received match your order. Any incorrect, missing or damaged goods received must be reported to us within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery.
If you choose to cancel your online order, please contact us immediately. We will not be able to cancel your order once your order has been dispatched.
If you wish to cancel an order which has been paid for but not shipped, you will be offered a store credit for the full amount, or a refund with a deduction of a 20% order cancellation fee.
Returns and Exchanges:
Please note: we do not offer refunds on items due to change of mind, incorrect size or style.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will happily exchange an item, provided you return the items unworn, unwashed and in clean, unsoiled condition, with all labels intact. Items must be returned within 14 days of the date of dispatch along with proof of purchase. If the item is soiled, it will be returned to you and no exchange will be possible.
Please phone or email us prior to returning your item to discuss your exchange. Postage costs incurred in exchanging an item is responsibility of the customer. Please include a self addressed and pre-paid envelope when returning items so we can send our exchange to you without delay or further charges. We highly recommend using a traceable method of postage when returning items as we accept no responsibility for lost or damaged goods in the exchange process.
If you prefer, we can issue you with a Silk Elegance Store Credit which is valid for 12 months from the date of the returned goods and can be used in store or online on a future purchase.
Due to Health and Hygiene, Silk Elegance does not accept exchanges on swimwear, briefs, bodysuits, hosiery and accessories (including adhesive bras or tape). Please choose carefully when ordering these products. If you require help on choosing the correct size and style, please do not hesitate to contact us before ordering. Our trained staff will be more than happy to assist you.
There is also no exchange on sale items, so please choose carefully.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, if a product is deemed to have a manufacturing fault or defect, we will replace, repair or refund the item. We will contact the manufacturer who will assess the item and establish whether it is indeed a manufacturing fault, or the result of wear and tear or laundering and care. Laundering and Care:
Silk Elegance stresses the importance of handwashing ALL garments. Silk Elegance, nor the relevant manufacturers accept no responsibility for damage caused to garments due to machine washing, tumble drying or incorrect use and care. Please refer to the care label and washing instructions on each garment.
