Conditions of Use

Shipping: Silk Elegance uses Express Post for all orders*. There is a flat rate postage fee of $10 for all orders Australia wide. *Please note: Registered post may be used for large or bulky items. We are unable to deliver internationally.
Items will be wrapped in tissue paper, however if you would like your order to be Gift Wrapped, please contact us when submitting your order. Please also let us know if you wish to have the parcel addressed to another name if the order is a gift.

Silk Elegance will endeavor to process your order within 48 hours of your order being submitted. A staff member will contact you within this time in case the items ordered are out of stock. Whilst we do our best to ensure all products are available at all times, due to the large selection of sizes and colours available, some items may be temporarily out of stock. Delivery on these items will be between 2-4 weeks. Should you have any queries on delivery times and/or out of stock sizes before placing your order, please feel free to contact us.

Once your order as been processed, your order will be dispatched via Express Post*. Delivery will take around 1-3 working days depending on your location. We will send you a confirmation email along with a Tracking Number which you can use to track the progress of your delivery on the Australia Post website:

Silk Elegance will not be held responsible for any late delivery or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Please note deliveries in the Christmas Peak Season may be slightly delayed.
If there is no one available at the delivery address to accept delivery, or there is limited access to the delivery address, a calling card will be left for you to collect the goods from your local Australia Post Office. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions stated on the card to collect your parcel. Please note we cannot request to leave the parcel unattended or placed anywhere around the property.

Upon delivery, it is your responsibility to ensure all items received match your order. Any incorrect, missing or damaged goods received must be reported to us within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery. This can be done by e-mail, phone or fax.

Returns: Please note: there are no refunds on any items. We will happily exchange an item if it is not suitable or the wrong size, provided you return the items unworn, unwashed and in clean, unsoiled condition, with all labels intact. Items must be returned within 14 days of the date of dispatch along with proof of purchase. If the item is soiled, it will be returned to you and no exchange will be possible.
Please phone or email us prior to returning your item to discuss your exchange. Postage costs incurred in exchanging an item is responsibility of the customer. Please include a self addressed pre-paid envelope when returning items so we can send the replacement back to you. We highly recommend using a traceable method of postage when returning items as we accept no responsibility for lost or damaged goods in the exchange process.

Due to Health Regulations, Silk Elegance does not accept exchanges on swimwear, briefs, bodysuits, hosiery and accessories. Please choose carefully when ordering these products. If you require help on choosing the correct size and style, please do not hesitate to contact us before ordering. Our trained staff will be more than happy to assist you. There is also no exchange on sale items, so please choose carefully.

Silk Elegance stresses the importance of handwashing all garments. Silk Elegance, nor the relevant manufacturers accept no responsibility for damage caused to garments due to machine washing, tumble drying or incorrect use and care. Please refer to the care label and washing instructions on each garment.
