Conditions of Use
To place an order, a customer needs to firstly complete the online order form on our website. When ordering from this site, the form used ensures that the customer provides all of the required information, so that there will be no unnecessary delays in processing your order.
Customers must ensure that the items that they have specified on the order form are suitable.
Products can be exchanged within 7 days of receipt of goods.
An exchange or store credit will be given where the product was the wrong size or unsuitable.
Tags must be left on the garment and must be in new and unused condition.
No refunds are given on any items.
No exchanges on briefs, swimwear and hosiery due to health regulations, so please choose sizes carefully.
There will be no credit given on order price difference, due to price drops. Please select carefully at the time when you place your order.
The customer is responsible for postage costs incurred by sending back an item for exchange or credit.
If items ordered are in store at the time the order is placed, delivery will be between 3 to 5 working days.
We do our best to make sure all sizes are available in stock, but due to the large selection of sizes and colours available, some items may be out of stock. Delivery on these items will be between 2-5 weeks. Should you have any queries on delivery times and out of stock sizes, please feel free to contact us.
Silk Elegance Lingierie take no responsibility for goods that do not meet the customer's requirements, specifications or expectations. Any suggestions that may be offered by our staff should be taken as a guide only.
Cancellation of Order
Orders cannot be cancelled without the express permission given by Silk Elegance Lingerie, and then only on terms that indemnify Silk Elegance Lingerie against all losses.
Any cancellation requests for an order must be made as soon as possible. Cancellations attempted after the goods have been dispatched from the supplier or distributor will result in the customer having to pay the shipping and handling charges on the package, the cost of shipping the package back to the supplier or distributor, and a restocking fee (usually around 20%), and a $20.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellation of orders will only be accepted if the goods are returned in exactly the same condition that they were in when they were dispatched, (that is in a saleable, unopened condition) and their packaging has not been opened or tampered with.
Cancellation requests may be communicated by email, fax or telephone.
Prices and Availability
All orders placed are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Silk Elegance Lingerie.
Products, pricing and availability displayed on our website should be considered as a guide only. Prices and availability will be confirmed upon receipt of completed order form from the customer, and these prices will be verified and sent via email or given over the phone. The confirmed prices and availability shall be valid for that day (24 hours) only.
Delivery charges are not included in our published prices, and if delivery and or is required the customer shall pay the cost of delivery of any goods that the customer purchases.
Silk Elegance Lingerie may change prices for received orders in the event of changes, or in the event of mistakes made us or by the suppliers or distributor. In the case of a price increase, you may cancel the order by giving notice to Silk Elegance Lingerie, which must be received within seven days of the price increase notification.
Prices, specifications and availability are all subject to change without notice. All prices quoted include GST if applicable.
We require cleared payment before goods are despatched.
For online orders, payment can be made by Credit card (Visa / Master Card / Bankcard / AMEX), and money order.
This information will also be shown at the time of confirming an online order on our website.
The title of the goods supplied does not pass to the customer until the full amount is paid to Silk Elegance Lingerie
Shipping and Freight
We can ship to a Post Office or a Post Office Box.
We do not ship to third party addresses unless that address is known and can be verified by Silk Elegance Lingerie.
Customers are responsible for paying any additional freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. We will make every effort to deliver on time. However, we shall not be held liable for delay or lost shipment.
It is the customers responsibility to be at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery during the business hours. Cost for re-deliveryattempts will be passed to the customers if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery. Deliveries are made during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, and the courier may require a signature as proof of delivery. If nobody is attended at the delivery address as stated by customer on the order form when the courier calls, your order will not be left for you unless you have made prior arrangements in writing with us.
If you need to arrange for the courier to call back again this may incur another delivery fee.
Any incorrect, missing or damaged goods received must be reported to us within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery. This can be done by e-mail, phone or fax.
If good(s) received is different from ordered please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the good(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.
Silk Elegance Lingerie owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been dispatched in error.
